Josip Ivanovic was born in 1961 in Sarajevo, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts. Since 1988, he is member of the Croatian Association of Artists and from 1993. Croatian Freelance Artists Association. He has exhibited at individual and collective exhibitions since 1987, in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Germany, USA, Austria, Turkey, Hungary, Belgium, Bulgaria and Slovakia. He lives in Dubrovnik.
